I am SOOOOOOO glad that all of my favorite people have been blogging lately! Gives me something to do when I'm ready to cry from boredom. Job hunting online can be so monotonous.
So, quick update to my last blog:
I made it through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd interviews! Yay! I was offered the job! Double Yay! Then they tell me that it isn't the salaried position of $38,000 they posted online… It was $210 a week salary working over 50 hours a week. The job is over 45 minutes away from my house on a clear traffic day, and that means after taxes are taken out and I pay for gas, I would be taking home a whopping -$10.
Yep. That's right. I would be losing money on this job.
So, I had to say no. And after I put everything into being a rock star at my interviews! At least I have some hot new clothes that my husband LOVES and that I can wear for future interviews. When my husband first told me that this job wouldn't work I was upset. The people there were really cool and the job had potential to travel! (I love travel!)
In hindsight, yea. I would be paying them to work there. Job FAIL!
Hahaha. My classes end in 2 weeks. I will then be unemployed for the summer. And I need a job to cover basic bills and my husband's college. I can't wait until he graduates and I take a month off to celebrate his awesome, high paying job…
Yep. you are right. We don't seem to have that kind of luck, do we? hahaha
Anyways, thank you to all of the good-luck wishes for my last job interview! They worked really well and I got the job! It was just crappy so I had to turn it down. Better luck next time!
80: apparently, that's the job you can get if you climb all the way up to being manager of the company. Idk. It didn't seem to be a good job situation.
