As some of you know, I started a new job two weeks ago. The pay is decent, but it is part time. Better than no job at all though, and with my husband working as well we can pretty much make ends meet.
My husband works a very low paying job, and lately it has been very stressful with his hours going too late at night for him to have time to study for class, or even get enough sleep before his classes in the morning.
I decided I needed to try for another job so he can focus only on his studies and get a VERY part time job if he wants. Today I asked my manager if my job is able to work schedule-wise with another part-time job. She told me that I don't need to worry because she is pretty sure I will be becoming full time soon. She can't make any promises as they are not formally offering me the position at this time,, and I'm not supposed to say anything to anyone until it is for sure, but I'm so excited I had to share it here!!! Full-time is 35-40 hours a week, plus a raise in pay from part-time to full-time. This would be amazing for us!
I don't want to tell my husband yet as I don't want to get his hopes up just in case...but if this works out it would be incredible!
