We got a new boss a few weeks ago. He's super hard to read, and pretty quiet unless he is upset so I can't get a read on him at all. I've been a good employee and a really hard worker, but after my bad luck this week he will probably fire me
Monday: no problems. Made it to work on time.
Tuesday: alarm didn't go off so I woke up two minutes before I was supposed to start work. I was 40 minutes late.
Wednesday: left early to get to work, only to get stuck in a traffic jam on the highway that made me late for work.
Thursday: I was totally confident that I worked this evening until I got a call at 9 am saying "where are you?? You're late!" My husband called in sick for me as is been up sick all night and asleep when they called.
I've never been fired from a job, but after all my terrible luck this week, I'm so worried they will fire me and I won't be able to provide for my husband and me
Ugh. I don't know what to do
