Today at work a menacing looking guy came through lookin for one of my male coworkers.
This dumb girl I work with was totally not reading the sitution and called the coworker to meet this guy.
The guy grabbed my coworker and was threatening him and I'm 99.9% sure he pulled a knife to his neck. I was a little ways away and saw the whole thing since I had been watching this guy like a hawk. He never looked at me though.
He left and a few minutes later I asked my coworker if he was ok? "Yeah I'm fine." Did he have a knife? (I wanted to see if he would lie to me) "no."

So, obviously I can't do anything about it, and there were no security cameras where we were.

I don't respond to fear and panic well, so this happened about an hour ago and I'm still completely panicked.

Update:

Now that I'm home, I'm much calmer! Husband held me until I was calm.

I'm still a little shook up when I think about. Especially because my coworker was so shook up the rest of the day, even if he tried to hide it.

I hate that there is nothing I can do about it, especially since he is denying there was a knife. Now I cannot tell anyone because if he denies it then I will just look like a liar…

Oh well, hopefully things will be better at work tomorrow. I honestly wanted to just go in and quit after that, but I have to support us and this job is the best way I can. Ugh.
