29 days. Four weeks and one day. Four long weekends.
Twenty nine days until I see him again.
We can't remember when was the last time it was that long. It might actually never have been that long.
We didn't have a date, except for 'before March, 20th' before last night, so I feel a bit better. But 29 days is still way too long.
The good thing: He'll be here to stay.
He hasn't signed the lease yet, because my roommate has to accept another appartment in our buidling first. She was going to do it today (but she probably didn't because she has quite a bit of personal trouble right now), but at the latest some time next week.
And then he's going to move in with me!!! We're going to live together for half a year!! Soo excited!
I can't wait to fall asleep and wake up next to him every day. To do his laundry. To make dinner together. For him to bring me glasses of water to the bed and make tea.
I'm going to make plans for the time until he comes here.
I have two term papers to write (one about expressions of pain/physical discomfort in Polish and German) and one about the image of Germany/Prussia in Polish press in the 18th century. I haven't really started working on them, but so far, they seem doable and like I might enjoy writing them.
I'm going to get my hair cut and probably bleached. It's mid back length now and while I love my hair... there's really not much I can do with it, except different sort of (french) braids. I'd like to be able to wear my hair down more often, but it's in the way too much. Plus I've been wanting to go blonder for some time, but I don't want to ruin my carefully cared for long hair... so I love it but it needs to go anyway.
I need to defend my Bachelor's Thesis. I've been putting off discussing the exact date with my prof for too long. I'm going to write him an e-mail today, since I need to declare it until Thursday. Eff.
I also have a big work project coming my way in the next few days, that is probably going to keep my busy until well into April.
This morning I had invited one of my best friends for breakfast and she gave me flowers as a present. I have beautiful yellow tulips on my desk now, reminding me that spring is only about a month away. Not only is it going to be my favourite time of the year, but I'll be living with my wonderful boyfriend
Please be fast, next 29 days!
Although I must say, I'd never look forward to doing anyone's laundry
29 days is really long for us. Especially now that we don't have classes, but he needs to finish his thesis and I have term papers, so a visit before that isn't really possible for us.
lucybelle, during the summer I had my boyfriend and then a friend of ours stay with me so for about three months I did their laundry as well. The first time I had a load of only mine it made me feel sort of lonely
I hate doing the dishes and cleaning (especially dusting!) but doing laundry is fine. I like the smell and feel of damp clothes fresh out of the washing machine.
