I'm at work right now, so I guess I should be doing something productive like reviewing the excel data sheets I got before our holidays, instead I'm writing a blog post. To be fair, though I am scanning a book for my prof's subsitute, it's not that I'm not doing anything.
So my wonderful boyfriend and I have been living together for 30 days today and tonight it will be one week that we've been in our own little place. The weeks before that we spent with a roommate, travelling and then with his family. Today is also my boyfriend's first day of classes (mine is tomorrow). He was going for a semestral German course, but after the qualification/admission test they put him in a course that lasts two semesters = a year. That has sort of crashed the plans he had, because he won't be able to start his Master's until October '13 now. At the moment he's considering going back to Poland with me in October and do the master's at his home university. He doesn't want to be an eternal student. We'll see about that in due time, though.
For the moment, we're living together and it's amazing. We went to Ikea with his mum and her boyfriend last Tuesday (they brought us here by car) and bought a shoe cabinet (bissa) and a bunch of other things. We've already put it together and it does really look so much better than before when my shoes were just flying around the place
So far living with him has been amazing and I'm excited to see how it goes now that we'll both have classes. His schedule is pretty stupid, most days he has classes from 12am - 3:30pm. But on Wednesdays he starts at 8:30am and on Thursdays at 2pm. I finish on 2pm on Thursdays :-/
Next weekend we're going to visit my family. I'm really looking forward to the visit, because I haven't seen my brother and grandparents in almost a year (10 months) and my boyfriend has only met them once before.

Btw I love Ikea. It's honestly one of my favorite stores.
And it gets even better. They read the scores of the assessment test in class yesterday and my boyfriend has like 81%, 100% 78% and 80% from the different parts (c-test, listening comprehension, grammar, writing) and apparently the rule is that you get into to better group when you have at least 80% in all the parts. The teacher asked him if he wants to change groups and he's going to talk to the teachers of the more advanced groups to see if they can take him on.
If this works out then our original plan works out AND he would only have classes 4 times a week instead of 5.
We're one lucky couple...
