4 days until I'll be in Germany and with my boyfriend again.

18 days until my mum will be here.

21 days until Christmas Eve.

I ordered my boyfriend's Christmas present the other day: a flip down clock he has been wanting for over a year. Did you have any idea how hard they are to come by? I bougt one in Germany and have it delivered to my mum. I also have two more presents for him: a book and a wallet-case for his phone.
We still need to get presents for the family, but we have a list and we're going to go shopping in Germany this weekend. I like buying or making presents for everyone.

I'm going to start making Christmas cookies next week when I get back. My boyfriend's ordering these cookie cutters for me. I asked him where I can get any, because cookies don't seem to be as popular in Poland as they are at home and of course he had no idea because he has probably never in his life even thought about cookie cutters before. Then I found the Ikea ones and saw that there's a moose and I wanted to have them. They're not expensive as such but the shipping costs half of what they cost and Ikea is on the other end of the city so I don't feel like going there in person either... so I whined to my boyfriend and gave up on them. And he ordered them for me I still needed to pay him back for the plane ticket that we bought with his credit card and I transferred a bit more money to his account for the cookie cutters. So in the end I bougt them myself, but I feel better giving money to my boyfriend than spending it on shipping. If he chooses to spend his money on useless things, that's entirely his decision.
I'm still planning to go to the bazar/market tomorrow to look for other more traditional cookie cutters (heart, moon, shooting star, the usual). We had a loooot of them at home and I wonder what happened to them now that my mum has sold the house, but shipping them would most likely be more expensive than getting new ones.
I just googled cookie cutters and found this. WANT!!

I can't believe I've just written a whole paragraph on cookie cutters. What's wrong with me?
I'm not motivated to do ANYTHING today. I should be reading for my Polish public discourse class and I have a presentation on German loanwords in Polish next week and I haven't even looked for the text... and I don't feel like doing anything. I was going to do some corpus research for work, but the search for the Polish national corpus isn't working today :-/
It snowed today, but only very, very little. Everywhere in Europe seems to be getting snow, except for here. I can't decide whether I like that or not.

Tomorrow is going to be a more productive day.

Here's the more traditional cookie cutters I bought today
