After I ended up not being happy with the dresses I ordered I got my dress today and I'm in love! I don't want to take it off, but I haven't decided yet whether I'm letting Olek see it before the wedding, so for now I've hidden it I decided I want something more decidedly weddingish after all
I also re-decided on the hat and got a pink one with a tiny birdcage veil. My phone doesn't really take good pictures and our place is dark and doesn't have a good space to take pics, so you'll have to be ok with these for now.' but I went to the in-laws and they have better lightning and a better mirror!

The dress without me in it:

and with me

I'm not wearing make-up today and I look so tired :-/

We managed to get through the guest-list drama, by sending out anouncements before the wedding. Things were really ugly for a while, and of course I ended up being the bad person who doesn't respect her future in-laws. But it was totally worth it and things are ok now.
I was going to send out cards and a photo of us afterwards and I think the anouncements are totally awkwardly worded now, but it was also worth the peace. It's practically impossible to write them without sounding like you're asking for presents (or at the very least cards and congratulations), which I'm definitely not. The other day, my mum asked what we'd like to get a present and I was like "uh? You want to give us a present?"

Here are some photos from the restaurant we booked. Olek wanted to go for something more rustic/country-style but (un)fortunately they were already booked for the day. So we had to go with my choice.
We also booked hotel rooms for everyone.

We're still considering the witness-thing. We don't need witnesses. But I would like my brother to be my witness and Olek wants his best friend to be his. But he doesn't under any circumstances want two male witnesses. Who even cares about stupid shit like that? They don't even have to freaking DO anything or sit anywhere special or even together. They just have to sign the freaking document. I don't get it. Sometimes he seems to be stuck in the 19th century.
