My internet is being slow (and I think it's only on my computer, it works fine on my phone and Olek's computer), so uploading the photos is gonna take a while and in the meantime I'm going to ramble.

We ordered my boquet and flowers for Olek last weekend and we decided on a menu yesterday. Poland is a funny country where "vegetarian option" pretty much always means FISH! I mean, I happen to eat fish (which is why I usually say "I don't eat meat" not "I'm a vegetarian", which I think is weird anyway, not eating something doesn't make me anyone. Anyway), but I don't consider fish a vegetarian option
So obviously their first suggestion was very meat concenrated and we modified it, so I'd have something to eat as well.
We're having two soup options: broth with noodles or pumpkin soup (Olek suggested the pumpkin soup - he originally wanted to keep it a secret and surprise me. I LOVE pumpkin soup!)
Main dish options:
duck with apple and silesian potato dumplings
or
salmon with pear (on a nuts and gorgonzola salad!)

and later (as a dinner sort of thing) we're having pierogi and bigos! Hey, it *is* in Poland!
For beverages we're having water (obvs), orange and black currant juice, white wine (although people can order red wine, if they want), cola and VODKA. Olek is convinced that without vodka it wouldn't be a valid wedding.
We're ordering cake seperately and Olek decided to get the flower decoration the restaurant offered for like 35€

We found a rock/indie party in Görlitz that we might go to later that night.

Ok, the photos have finally uploaded. Here are some photos of us on Olek's best friend's wedding in August.

Later that night (note the comfortable shoes!) - dancing with my man and his mum

*edit: Olek kept his jacket on all night, because that's how the groom wanted it. It was so hot that day, 30°C. He's officially a hero - I wouldn't have survived.

And this is me. Apparently caught making eyes at one of Olek's good friends

and jfyi: I'm not drinking wine and vodka - that's black currant juice!
