For starters:
I won that trip to Poland from the facebook contest. Seeing as I can't take my husband and my mum and brother are busy, I'm going to take one of my best friends. We're going on our moose safari Sept. 11- 14th.
Thanks for everyone who voted and I'm going to take lots of photos and stuff.
They booked us flight tickets (STUPID! And not much faster than the train, but whatever) and awesome hotels. I'm kinda chuckling at the fact that I'm going on a weekend getaway with another man, but then the friend and I have known each other for almost 15 years.
A short update;
We've gotten back from Poland last week. I handed in my thesis before we left, then we spent 3 days in Swinoujscie, went to Warsaw, went to Olek's friend's wedding, their after-wedding party (that's a thing in Poland), met up with all our friends and family, took the bus to Wroclaw last Thursday morning, spent a wonderful day in Wroclaw and went home. We spent the rest of last week enjoying doing nothing.
On Monday we both started our new jobs. I work Mon-Wed now and Olek worked Mon, Thu and Friday this week.
I have kind of put together my class schedule for my new degree (classes are starting Oct, 13th) and I'll defend my thesis and oficially earn my MA degree in Slavic studies on October 2nd.
