I'm too tired to write a coherent blog. I got up at 4:30 this morning, because I had my first class at 7:30 and it takes me about two hours to get to university.

So here's photos of our anniversary on Sunday. I can't believe we've already been married for a year... and a day

And as a (1st, but I didn't know that) surprise, I got another elk to add to our family

We went to Görlitz/Zgorzelec the city where we got married. The easternmost city in Germany (logically as such, it borders with Poland).
It was quite an adventure, because not only did the railway people go on strike and instead of a train every hour, there was one bus in each direction the whole day, but there was also a marathon that blocked the whole city, so instead of 15min by tram, it took us 45 by bike to get to the station in the first place.
But once we finally made it
Aaand Olek unpacked another surprise! We now have one of those kitschy locks on a bridge. On a bridge that connects our countries <3

After a loong day of walking and shopping (I have a new wintercoat!), we went to the restaurant where we had our wedding dinner.
After we sat down the waitress came up with this package that apparently had been delivered for us!

I thought it was something else that Olek had come up with. But it turned it it was his parents (or rather his mum) and they sent us two small presents and a really thoughtful card. It felt super special to be given something that had been delivered to the restaurant for us
