I finally bought a new laptop!! It's a Lenovo U530 Touchscreen, and it is beautiful
It's a laptop with touchscreen capabilities (which I love), and it's also extremely fast. I've been needing a new laptop for a few years now, so I'm very happy that I finally took the plunge! Fortunately, I was able to get a discount on it as well, since my stepmom works for IBM. With her employee discount, I was able to buy it for almost half of the ticket price!!
All in all, it was a great deal, and I couldn't be happier. It more than beats my old, shitty laptop that I bought at Walmart four years ago for $200!!
School:
Besides buying my new laptop, life has been very busy. This semester at university has been overwhelmingly crazy, and I sometimes feel like I barely have time to breathe. I'm taking four classes, which means I'm a full-time student, and while two of them are easy and enjoyable classes, the other two are hell :/ I keep reminding myself that there is only 6 weeks to go in the semester, so I just have to make it till then. I know I can do it!
I was also contemplating taking summer classes, but a few days ago, I realized that I just can't handle it right now. I almost had a breakdown while looking at the summer class schedule, and that is when I decided that I need to take the summer off school in order to keep my sanity. I've been taking summer classes every summer since I started college in 2010, so I think I deserve a break!! It will be nice to have 3 months off where I can focus on relaxing, working, enjoying time with family and friends, and visiting my SO, of course
Visits:
As far as visits go, we are thinking of planning a visit soon after my semester ends, probably around the end of May. I will most likely be traveling to Germany again, which is more than fine by me! The last time I was in Germany during the summertime was in 2012, so I'm very excited to see it again
And better yet? After visiting my SO for a few weeks during the beginning of summer, he will possibly visit me in California at the end of summer!!!
I already have a ton of fun stuff planned, like going to Catalina Island, San Francisco, etc. I can't wait Anyways, that's about it for now. For those of you who read this, I hope it wasn't too boring ^^
