I finally have time to blog, yay!

Well, first things first, I graduated from college yesterday! (In case you hadn't seen my numerous posts about it :P). It took me nearly 5 years to finish, but I finally got my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Entrepreneurship There were definitely times when I didn't think I could do it. I think there's a common misconception that college life is all about partying, getting drunk, and spending your parents' money while you goof off. For me, though, college was really hard. I did enjoy my major, and I did form a lot of great friendships, but over the past 5 years, I've worked my ass off trying to get good grades and keeping my head above water. There were times where I wondered if my degree was worth it, especially when I was stuck in my room studying all day while I saw my Facebook friends who didn't go to college partying every weekend and seeming to enjoy life to the fullest. But, at the end of day, I realized that my degree WAS worth it! All that hard work, frustration, tears, and stress got me to my degree, and to a better future
I couldn't have done it, though, without the support of my SO, close friends, and family. They helped motivate me along the way and kept me going when I felt like dropping out of school. I will also be forever grateful to my parents who helped me financially throughout these past few years. Thanks to their help, I graduated with zero student debt. So, thank you Mom and Dad! I know you guys aren't reading this, but thank you anyways <3

So, what does the future hold for me? Well, I will continue to work on growing my business! I own a residential cleaning service that provides cleaning services for homes, business offices, and medical offices. I've been really fortunate these past few years staying so busy with work, but I hope I can keep moving forward and growing. I've also recently gotten my certification to work in the in the crime and trauma scene decontamination industry(a.k.a. CTS Decon). This is also known as crime scene clean-up. With this certification, I'm able to clean up crime scenes following murders, suicides, assaults, etc. Sounds glamorous, right? I'm actually pretty excited about a new experience, though. While I didn't go to university just to clean, I hope to eventually own a CTS Decon business, too. I know I have my work cut out for me moving forward, but I'm really excited about what the future may hold

In other exciting news, I'm flying out to Germany to see my SO on Tuesday!! I'm so happy to see him again. Even though we've only been apart for 3.5 months, (which is the shortest amount of time we've ever been apart), it feels like it's been a lot longer than that. I can't wait just to do everyday things with him and just be together. It looks like we will be going to Rome for a few days, too I've always dreamed of going to Italy, so it's hard to believe I actually get to go! I love how affordable it is to travel within Europe, (at least, compared to how expensive it is to travel within the US :/).
We're still not sure how our future will play out, or how we're going to close the distance. But, I hope this visit will give us more clarity on what we're going to do. I know the future is never certain, but I'm optimistic about it, because I know we'll work together to make it happen

TL;DR- I graduated from college, have a job which I'm excited about, and get to visit my SO for 3 weeks!
