We finally have some stuff planned! Soooo much easier in person.

Date: May 17th, 2014

Wedding Venue: My parents' church. We're meeting with the priest soon - it's so hard with my SO's schedule to make any sort of appointments. The entire month of May is free though so we're not worried. The priest knows our date and is very excited for us.
Edit: just scheduled our first appointment for June 10th

Reception Venue: The clubhouse at my parents' lake. The inside is basically a big hall with hardwood floors and paneling, a stage for the band, a full service kitchen, and very nice bathrooms. It's going to look great when it's decorated. Plus it's within budget and the view is spectacular!

Photo from the street. The front has a sign and I don't want to share too much on the internet (although it's probably too late now :P). Plus you have to see how it's surrounded by trees and such.

The back - We plan on having the cocktail hour on that big porch! The reception will be on the second floor, not in the part that looks like a garage - that's the canteen and pool table room haha.

Our prom photos were taken on the lake (although on a different property with a little bit less of the view - the venue's view is actually better). See how pretty?

Honeymoon: We're going to be taking a cruise from Florida to the Bahamas. Five nights/four days, stopping in two ports. My SO and I are so excited to go on a "grownup" vacation. I liked the idea of the cruise from the get go. My SO really liked the idea too and told me to look into it. So I found us a great deal and started to show him all the stuff on the ship and all the things that we could do. He kept looking at me and going "THAT WILL FIT ON A SHIP?!?!" haha. He is so excited and so am I We plan to book the cruise pretty soon so we can make sure we have everything in place.
We really wanted to go to Disney as some of you may know but that just wasn't financially possible. But with this plan, we can potentially spend one day there (it would be on our way home) if our finances work out. But if we don't get to go it will be totally fine - we're so excited about the cruise now and we can always do Disney in the future when we have more money. I'm so happy we made this choice.
