I don't understand why some people have problems with age gaps. How old you are doesn't change the person you are. My SO is 10 years older than me and it's never been an issue between us or any of our families or friends.
    Good luck to you
As long as there is air in my lungs... there is a chance

i met mine on an online mmorpg xD
      im 19 and hes 17
ive never ever thought in my life i would be that girl who would date a guy who is younger than herself xP
      but oh well
      we love each other
      and just like you
we had to keep secrets from a lot of people, like parents and friends..coz we just wanted to avoid from people making stupid comments about our relationship
i dont think people would have approve me being in love with guy i met on the internet who lives miles away, plus, hes younger than me
even though hes younger, i think hes much more matured than some of the guy that are off my age lol xP

well, we have this younger-guy thing too. I'm 21 and my boyfriend is 19 and people are just looking weird at us when they get to know it (that is funny cause they don't even notice it if we don't tell it, so it couldn't be so bad...) We are together almost a year ago and I had never ever had a problem in our relationship because of the fact that he is almost 3 years younger than me... Ages are not important if you are in love I guess. And sooner and later the people around you will notice this too

My first boyfriend was 22 and I was 14 at the time. We dated for 2 years. Yes, some people gave us some crap about it but my mum and dad came to terms with it eventually so it wasn't a problem. My 2nd boyfriend was also 8 years older than me - not a problem to anyone and it never seemed like a big deal to me in the first place.

Andy in the other hand is 5 years younger than me and for some reason, even though I think it's not much of a gap at all, most people started making little "funny" comments about how I found a younger man (they joked about duration in bed etc) and especially my mum couldn't stop making little notes about how young Andy was. Even though she meant it in a good way it really got on my nerves. 5 years is absolutely nothing!

To the point: You CAN love someone even if you're young. Just don't care about what other people think. If your relationship is meant to be then you will last these next 2 years and stick together until you can be together in public. You might not be able to tell your parents about your bf yet, but you can tell everything to the LFAD family
