    returning to CD

    hi all, this is a Qand A type discussion- feel free to respond, i love hearing your stories!! x

    has anyone being CD (either near to or actually living with their SO) before having to go LDR for whatever reason?
    >> was living with my SO in our flat before moving up north for my job

    when you planning on closing the distance?
    >> moving back 19th may 2012

    what are your plans regards to becoming CD again?
    >> i can imagine lots of cuddling on our sofa - but we've also got the ball coming, and we are both working that event. besides tht i forsee lots of baking and pie making!!

    do you feel different from when you first went away?
    >> yes, i am starting to realize that something will need to change soon if this relationship is to develop further. i feel torn at times between deciding on my love or my career.

    >> We started dating CD, but I had to leave as my visa expired.

    when you planning on closing the distance?
    >> June 18th!!!

    what are your plans regards to becoming CD again?
    >> A lot of cuddling and going out to restaurants, and hopefully lots of making new friends in the new city!!

    do you feel different from when you first went away?
    >> Yes, that was over a year and a half ago, so we've developed a lot since then. I think back then the love we had was more blind and all-consuming, and now it's deeper and more solid

      >> Moving to him Aug 16, 2012

      what are your plans regards to becoming CD again?
      >> cuddling, doing homework together... other things...

      do you feel different from when you first went away?
      >> yes... things are different. It's been three years, how could they not be?

        >> We dated for five years CD before going LDR, we lived together for the last year before going LDR.

        when you planning on closing the distance?
        >>May 10th!

        what are your plans regards to becoming CD again?
        >>He is coming to live with me for the summer then in August we move to where he is going to grad. school. I need a job to start saving for our wedding, and paying bills and whatnot.

        do you feel different from when you first went away?
        >> We have both developed close peer groups and have loosened up a lot. I am also much more appreciative of all the things I used to take for granted in CD.

          >> We started out CD (a 10-15 drive from each other), and were for six months before he moved to Colorado, causing us to go LDR. (It was only supposed to be two months. Two months turned into three, and three turned into "I love it up here and I'm doing so well and I don't wanna mess it up by going back down there." So we've been LD for almost 10 months, will be almost 11 when we close the distance)

          when you planning on closing the distance?
          >> May 25! I'm moving up to Colorado to be with him.

          what are your plans regards to becoming CD again?
          >> Lots of cuddling, catching up on date nights, and lots of cooking for each other

          do you feel different from when you first went away?
          >> He was the one that went away, but yeah. Though it has more to do with us living together than closing the distance, so a lot of my fears I would have even if we hadn't been long distance.

            >> Yes, when he came home last time and he confessed his feelings we started seeing each other for about 2 months then

            when you planning on closing the distance?
            >> he will be leaving Greece on July 12 and should be back on the Island on July 13

            what are your plans regards to becoming CD again?
            >> I will be working in the day time and will be in school for up until 2 weeks after he gets here. I expect after that to spend sometime with him cuddling, frolicking, massaging, making love at a seaside cottage owned by a friend of mine for a week.

            do you feel different from when you first went away?
            >> yes, at the beginning of our relationship I was somewhat ambivalent but now the more I get to know him the more I care for him.
