So, I made a post while I was still in Wisconsin about how I was leaving and kind of sad about it. I am home now and still kind of sad. I miss my boyfriend, BUT before I left, what made this different than when he came to Texas and left and I felt heartbroken, is we discussed plans on closing the distance which made me feel like we were in a more grounded and stable position. He's pretty much a math guru so we sat down and did the numbers and we figured, the earliest I would be there is sometime in June, but the latest is July. We're both going with the safe bet of July, in any case. My birthday's on the 13th so this would definitely be a good time for it to happen. July's a for sure thing, June's a maybe, May's a no. We knocked off some of the saving the past couple of days, too which feels pretty good. I am feeling really productive and lit on fire in a good way. I can't wait to go back. I feel like when I am in Texas, although I love my cats (who will be reunited with me after a few months of living in Wisconsin - my boyfriend loves them just as much as I do) and family, I just have always felt so alone here and I didn't in Wisconsin and it was so much more than just spending time with my boyfriend. People were nicer, the weather was better (in my opinion), the feeling of the place was so homey. But yes! Between the SO's job, my earnings, and my mom offering to help here and there: We are definitely closing the distance at the very most July!!! We have known each other for two years and we've been together a year in a week and a day (May 11th).
