Aaaah that's sooo exciting! We did it like that too, first I went to visit him and then we flew back together. It's like I was picking him up In a way that was also kind of awkward because at the same time I was 'taking him away' from his family... All well, in the end I just had to accept that they were all going to be crying and try to not feel bad about it, haha! But it was amazing and I'm sure you guys will have an awesome time! Yeah...I'm sure he'll face a little resentment but in general everyone knows I'm happy and that's what matters. I feel much better about leaving knowing he's "coming to get me."
