Excited and scared and happy oh my!

We are closing the distance in 5 short weeks. It's finally beginning to sink in. I'm at his house often enough I'm calling it home now & I just work in another city. I have so many emotions floating around my head feels full!!
Excited to begin a life with a wonderful man who loves me! Excited for a new life adventure! Excited for my new job!
Scared of a place I'll know no one but his family, scared something will happen to us. Happy that we'll finally be together. Sad at leaving my parents, family, and friends. Sad at leaving a job I'm so familiar and comfortable with, but excited too!
Right now I'm with him but when I'm alone in my city, I just cry at times. I think I'm completely overwhelmed. I can handle it, sure, and he's there for me.
For those of you who have CD, how have you dealt with all these different things at one time?

I've got all those same thoughts and feelings. It's a crazy, wonderful, stressful time. Looks like we're closing the distance around the same time. Good luck!

Wonderful that you're closing the distance. Any kind of change is scary. In no time at all, his family will seem like family to you. You will meet new people, make new friends. You will find a new job. Look on the positive side!

Transition is always scary.. But the best part is you will be with your SO.. Being with him will give you courage to cope with the stress of transition. I wish you best of luck

i know my fiance' has alot of the same feelings too...and i give her space when she needs it...i don't want to smother or overwhelm her...anymore than she already is...she's been spending alot of time with friends...and i encourage that...it is a little more than 2 weeks before she is here...and she and i will have all the time in the world together...so i want her to enjoy her friends now while she can...but i also let her know i am here for anything...just for talking...or if she needs me to listen...

Thank you SeeRat. And D.4C - yep, my SO is encouraging me to spend lots of time with family & friends which I'm doing. I'm more tearful now that my move is getting closer. And I'm lucky that he understands all of it. Especially when my bff or mom begins crying! How is your fiance' doing with all of this?
