This is really happening!

I was approved for a working holiday visa and am moving to NZ for at least 12 months on March 3!! I am sooo excited, nervous and SCARED. I have already started sorting through and packing up all of my stuff (going to move in with family for the last month to save $$). It's difficult to decide what to donate, what to keep in storage (which will be limited), what to throw away and what to take with me. I am only planning on taking 2 suitcases worth of stuff with me, so it may be a challenge.

It's finally starting to feel real.

When are you leaving? I will be in Masterton until we find a place in Wellington. We considered Auckland too, but he knows Wellington fairly well and does not know Auckland at all.

I leave mid to late March. Wellington is a nice city! If you like the hustle and bustle of a bigger city with lots to do, Auckland is definitely the best, but with that said I think it can be a pretty dull city to be honest. And traffic/getting around/living cost is an absolute nightmare! But I do like the big city buzz I have to say Excited for you!
