I live abroad for a year so I only bought the most necessary things here. For my kitchen THE single most important item was the convection oven I bought. I love it so much I will probably feel bad about leaving it here
For me, the kitchen is the most important room of the apartment, so I could just make a list of kitchen things now, but I agree with the others, it really depends on your lifestyle. If you don't really like cooking, anything I would recommend would be utterly useless for you.
Now the bed issue. I think the most important part is that the bed in itself is robust The size is up to you. Before I left for Korea my SO and I slept in a single bed (90cm) which really is tiny, but it was okay. What was a lot more annoying was the sqeaky noise it made every time someone did so much as touch it..
