So this was my last weekend with my SO before he helps me move to Orlando. I'll be there at least until January. Anyway we were getting ready to head out for the day, and he says, "I have a question for you, and you can say no if you don't want to."
I always get butterflies because he only says, "I have a question for you" if it's a serious thing that only I can answer. Otherwise he just asks. So I said go ahead, ask. And then he asked if I would mind going furniture shopping for our future apartment. The one we'll have together when I get back from Florida. (I made him clarify this, to make sure, lol.)
I kind of wanted to freak out and scream and jump around, but I didn't. It was very fun and romantic, we both agreed on the perfect sofa and loveseat, were hounded by at least three salespeople, and just got to wander and discuss our future plans. We've discussed moving in together before, so it's nothing new. But talking about this sort of stuff is usually brought up by me, so I was kind of shocked when it was his idea to look for stuff for our future place.
Just wanted to share the excitement! I can't wait to have a place together and not have to worry about driving back and forth.
