Discussing K-1 (Fiancee) Visa

Yes! We actually got the third letter yesterday (the one that says your petition is sent to your embassy) and now we're waiting on my embassy to do the next step
You can always pm me if you need information and I'll try to help as best as I can!
ALSO:
The AP is pretty expensive - $360 - and applying for it does not automatically will get it granted, which means you could lose that money if they think that your reason to leave the country is not good enough.

Awesome news, snow! And thanks for that info.
We won't be even starting the process until at least next summer, probably next fall. Gonna have a few more visits first. She wants to come here for Thanksgiving so we're trying to make that happen. Then I'll be going there after a few months, hopefully for my birthday, and she'll come back with me. After that, if everything goes well, I'll start making the visa a priority.

I mentioned the AP petition being difficult not because it's hard to fill out but because USCIS rarely grants it (on top of the expense). If her family is able to visit, then that is awesome! Good luck with it; and great that you have visits planned for now! When two hearts are meant for each other, no distance is too far,
no time is too long, and no other love can break them apart.
