Can someone point me to earlier threads or good links on how to bring my SO to Finland eventually? Or any other information. We are not talking about a marriage yet. We've both been married before (him twice, going through divorce now) and me once. He is an independent consultant and can work anywhere and have clients from the States, Asia (he is fluent in Chinese) and of course Finland.
Someone here was in a relationship usa-europe and he/she was taking trips to UK / Croatia. So is it enough to take a trip every three months and come back? Norway is probably not enough or Switzerland? London is probably the cheapest. What other things are there to consider? Officially applying for a visa based on entrepreneurship in Finland seems to be possible but I would imagine that take months if not years and whatever the requirements might be. We might find ways once he is here like some school hiring him to teach English etc against a visa but it's good to hear what experiences other have.
