Don't do it purely as an attempt to save the relationship... if he truly cares and there really is an issue in your relationship he will talk it out with you and if he wants to make it work he will. You needing to finish off college before you close the distance is perfectly understandable and to be expected.

If you're having fears about moving, let him know. It's better to get that all cleared up BEFORE the move than after and when you're already settled down into a new area, especially with college and such. I learned the hard way that not being upfront doesn't pay off. He'll hopefully understand your fears and try to talk with you about them.Comment
