You said you haven't been able to meet due to financial hardship and scheduling problems. closing the distance requires money for start up costs. Regardless of if she's going to live with you, there will be costs involved. Rent, flights, car
So she can be independent, the shipping of her stuff and not to mention the other hidden costs the appear along the way. It also requires a heck of a lot of planning and scheduling, when does she move? Does her family come with her to make sure she's settled as she's only 19? What happens if she gets homesick? Is there money set aside for her to fly back for a visit? There's a lot involved and if you haven't had one visit yet, I'm sorry but you'll be in for a real financial shock trying to close the distance. Also, you'd need her family approval as you don't want to cause a rift between her and her family as she could end up holding resentment. You also will have to prepare yourself for the fact that if you haven't met, you may not click in person or feel at ease around eachother. If that's the case, thats a lot of financial outlay that could've been avoided by a few visits prior.
