Me and my fiance are planning on closing the distance, I've done research into the fiance visa but I want to hear about peoples real experiences with this visa application and getting the acceptance.
So the backstory:
My fiance lives in the USA and we want him to come here to the UK.
We've been together for 4 years now.
I earn a salary of £18,200 per year (I know it's below the threshold, hoping the government would evaluate it on a person by person basis)
Currently still live with my parents but will have my own place by the time he comes over.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
