How long have your visa's taken?

Personally, my SO and I's process is expected to take between 11 to 17 months, whereby I stay in the UK until I can get a US residency to live with my American SO. I'd like to know how long it's taken for everyone else, because there's often a huge disparity in waiting times and such.

Are you asking about just others who are applying from the UK for US status or all closing-the-distance visas?

I'm going from the US to Canada and I'm not being sponsored. I applied through their skilled workers program and it took 44 days to approve my application (although it was really a 6 month process start to finish). The estimated processing time for my class is pretty broad (80% of applications processed within 6 months).
