Closing the distance???

As of this week, there are no real obstacles to Patty and me closing the distance.

She has (or will be soon) finishing what she has to do to ensure that her mother has a place to live. Although she has not given a specific date, there is no further obstacle to her returning here.

She keeps saying that she has a surprise for me. Since Patty is 8365 miles away, the only thing I can think of is that she will show up on my doorstep some day!


I would even accept a text: "Hey, Love! I'm at the airport. Come and get me." Of course, I hope I don't get arrested for speeding, if that is what happens!

I tend to over analyze things, so maybe I am reading too much into it, but the last couple days there has been a subtle change in her texting which makes me think she is up to something. Given our usual pattern of texting, it would be easy to hide a 20+ hour trip with 2 layovers.
