US to Canada, need advice

Hi everyone,


I need some help. My girlfriend is an American and I am a Canadian. Our plans is to have her move here. We've been together for 2 years.


I understand the immigration system as such: either she needs to be married to me, have a applicable educational reason (school, education for work) or a work related reason that can sponsor her.

I have an understanding but I'd also like someone who's an American and planning to or did move to Canada: how did it go?
