Me and my SO were suppose to close the distance in june. But I think We've both realized thats just too soon. Between him not wanting to leave his mom when she needs him, and Me not sure if he truely understands how hard my kids are to handle.. looks like we won't have a date set just yet.. I'm a little sad even if this is what i think is best

You have to do what's best for you. At least this way you know that you're doing it the slow, but BEST way for you, and I hope once you have some time to be disappointed, you can look forward to a new closing the distance date.

I'm sure once the dissapointment disappears I'll start planning for out next closing the distance date asap. It's just going to suck seeing him for a week and then having to turn around and leave without him. But i guess the longer we're together long distance, the more exciting it'll be when we finally get to close the distance for good!

Do what is best for the two of you. Waiting a little bit longer will make it so much better for you and give you more time. It is a big step and really should be thought out and take your time and it will ALL work out..
