Visa Requirement - Check!

The visa I'm entering my SO's country on requires that I have a minimum of $5000 AUD (almost 1-to-1 ratio with US Dollars) in my bank account in order to enter the country.

As of today's paycheck, I have finally hit the minimum.

I can't believe I finally did it!

And I feel rich... lol! Expect more good news soon as I smash these other things on my list outta the way.

I have to have the $5000 in the bank in current available funds - I bring proof of funds by using a bank statement and a signed letter from my bank. I don't know if they'll *actually* check at the border once I'm in, but I need to have it in case they do.

I'm going on a working holiday visa - basically the visa allows me to stay in the country and then travel and work for a year.

None, actually. They can ask for proof of funds, and I guess someone could technically ask me for proof that I went to high school, but I figure my diploma should hold me in good stead just fine. :P

I do need to still purchase my health insurance and plane tickets... Insurance is expensive. >.<
