    *drumroll* And It's Official, I'm Leaving for Australia on...

    ...Thursday, April 28th!

    I had to buy separate tickets in the end in order to avoid changing planes 4 times and having a 40 hour travel window.

    I leave Kansas City at 3:20 PM, arrive at LAX at 6:00PM.

    Then I gather my bags and recheck in at the international terminal at LAX for my flight at 10:30 PM. I don't get to Matt until 9.35 AM on Saturday, April 30th.

    My SO is paying for my tickets, so that's a huge weight off my shoulders.

    *checks another thing off my extensive moving list*

                              Thank you, truly. All of the support and joy from ya'll means the world. Sometimes I feel like people haven't been talking to me because of the impending move, and getting to talk all of my friends on here is really important and meaningful to me.

                              In other moving to-do news, I've found buyers for my car and my bed, so with that the big things are taken care of. Now I'm just trying to divvy out the 4 kajillion little things - I'll be going to the used book & DVD store and taking a bunch of things there this weekend when I go to visit my parents, so that'll help clear up some space.

                              A word of advice to anyone who's closing the distance, particularly internationally: really make sure you investigate your closet/storage areas of where you've put stuff by - you don't realize how much crap you have in those spots until it's time to clean them out!
