As some of you may have saw from my blog on here, June 14th is the day we close the distance. It will also be our first meeting. Some of my friends (no one on here) thinks this is a stupid idea and we should meet first before well, living together. I agree with them that it would be smarter to wait and have a few visits first but we just don't have that kind of money or freedom. by the time we gather up enough money to have regular visits it would be almost another year or two before we even have ONE visit let alone regular visits. This is really our only chance. And were taking it. Scary? Like hell. Are we nervous? Yes but more excited. Is it worth it? Most definitely.
This also isn't some spur of the moment thing. We've talked about this for MONTHS. I think were mature enough (although still young) to understand this is a big step. But some general awkwardness and discomfort when we first start living together isn't gonna kill us and we'll work through it. I really owe my parents for this.... I dunno how I'm gonna pay them back for this wonderful chance. (My mother bought his ticket and he will be staying with me at my parents house)

It's good to know that you have your parents support in this (even if your friends think you're crazy). I'm sure things will work out fine and the general awkward stage will pass quickly for you two
