Ohhh, I gotcha. That is fast! If our visa still doesn't come through by the end of the month, I am contacting my State Representative. I spent last summer with him in Canada, but I didn't need a visa for that, I was there 5 months. The holiday working visa probably allows for longer than the standard 6 months, huh? Well, since work is involved. Yeah.
And oh I know, it's very unpredictable from place to place. I mean I went into this with hardly any clue what to do, now I know a lot more about the process and what to expect, but we had to find out the hard way, at the border.. the Border Patrol searched the car and found the ring box to my engagement ring. Oops. We were planning a cross-country roadtrip to my place [kind of with the intent to marry so we could stay together through the visa process], yeah.. it ended very short in Michigan, they turned us around, and then Canada gave me a hard time, and a notice to leave the Country by a certain date. I can't imagine you'll have that kind of trouble. But we have been through a lot. I mean they took his picture and fingerprints, and that was shocking to us. They pointed us in the right direction with the Fiance Visa, but it was shocking. I mean it wasn't like he wasn't going to go through the immigration process, we didn't do anything illegal.
The major thing that would put all of that behind us, would be our visa going through. c: I'm very hopeful, I mean we stuffed that envelope so full of proof and other details of our relationship, we have a lot going for us. But I'm excited for you guys and your visa! I mean, reading a lot of these on here, I'm feeling the same way!
