So my SO and I are finally closing the distance after 2 long, hard, and very stressful years. He has been in a tiny village on the west coast of Alaska (almost to Russia) teaching elementary school. He is finally moving home to Georgia as his teaching contract has expired and he has chosen not to renew it. While he is happy to be coming home, I sense some doubt and anxiety on his moving home. Teaching jobs are very hard to come by these days in Georgia and he feels that he is giving up a great opportunity and salary in Alaska to move home with or without a job. So for the last 6 months he has been trying to decide what he thinks would be best for him. And while I'm very happy that he has decided to come home - I cant help but feel that he would rather be staying in Alaska because it would be the easier thing to do....
