On the cusp of closing the distance...

Not really seeking advice or anything, but I did want to share.

After nearly three years, I finally graduated from my Master's degree program. Tomorrow will be my last full day in Massachusetts before I start driving across the country to close the distance. A week from tomorrow, home will finally be where it belongs -- with my SO.

Just another example of a successful LDR going local.

I definitely won't forget. Done. Although I'll have to admit I probably won't be around as much (although the last semester killed me so there might not be a difference), but I have no intention of completely going away. This site has been an amazing resource -- especially on those days and nights when things weren't going well. I intend to continue providing my two cents to others.

After a week of travel involving 4 days of driving -- 2800+ miles driven -- and missing the horrible destruction caused by the tornadoes in Joplin, Missouri by a mere 24 hours (I stayed about a mile from the path of them on Saturday. 24 hours later on Sunday they roared through.) I arrived safe and sound to be with my SO in Las Vegas. Now I just have to figure out why my truck isn't happy and making a new noise. Hopefully not to expensive to fix. Either way, definitely worth it!
