So we're finally closing the distance today!
This evening, my family will take me to the station where I will catch my six hour coach trip to Gatwick airport. Then, I will have around 4 hours in the airport before my 12 hour plane to Vancouver.
I'm a big mix of emotions right now but oh my god I couldn't be any more excited!
I've still got a lot to do today, I need to get some Canadian dollars, finish packing, cancel my phone contract.
Now some of you might remember that I'm a big Swansea Citty football fan! Well they have a big game tonight so I have some people coming over tonight and watch the game with me, then as soon as it's over it's a big mad rush to get to the station!
Anyway, I'd like to thank you all for your support and help through my time away from my man. Reading all your stories I do know that him and I had it kind of lucky, we thought we'd closed the distance before Christmas but due to various reasons I had to fly back to the UK and there was a time when we didn't know when we'd be together again. Luckily, we've only had to go about three months without each other. But my god has it been tough. This time apart really has been one of the toughest, most stressful times of our lives and even though it's all but done with I still feel so tired, exhausted and drained from these few months. But this forum has certainly been a support system for me and my partner and I certainly admire you guys who are in it for the long run.
I sure will be sticking around once I'm out there with him although if might be a couple of weeks before we're settled into our new apartment (which we haven't even found yet!) But I will try and check in as much as I can, and maybe post a few pictures once we're settled!
Again, I'd like to thank you all for your help and support and remember that true love really does know no distance, and true love will conquer all.
