If you moved, what do you miss?

So I moved down to live with my SO in December.
Since then a close school friend has passed away and I was unable to make his funeral, our town was hit by terrible floods that affected my old office, and now one of my best friends has told me she is getting married in less than a month and would like me to come (she's only been planning for a week). I can't make the wedding because friends have already made plans and booked flights to visit.
It's just things like these that make me feel really bad, and guilty that I can't make it.
Gah, does anyone else feel this way?

That was not the kind of things I was expecting from the title of the thread, but I do have a cousin who's getting married on 19th June (I'm leaving on the 11th) so I won't be able to make that. She's the first kid in our family to get married, so her parents aren't pleased with me and my dad for me leaving right before the event. /:

I already lost a best friend recently, and now, because of that, one of our close mutual friends is guilting me for leaving, even though he left a year ago to study in Manchester. He thinks I'm leaving my ex-bestfriend behind for a boy, and completely ignores the fact that I'm going there to pursue my studies. It makes me feel really bad, but they can think what they want to think, it's not going to change anything. ):

I'll miss my cousins wedding and the birth of my other cousins baby. I have a god daughter who I won't get to see much of and I'm terribly worried about losing my grandparents while I am away. They have skype which will help make the distance seem a little less.

On a lighter note, I'm really going to miss cool whip.

My great aunt has been in hospital for three or so weeks .... I think it may be... well... the beginning of the end...?
But on a lighter note, all of the supermarkets are open here til midnight and they all have bottle shops inside them! It's friggin awesome!
But, this state is silly, because they have put me back on my provisional licence instead of my opens cause I'm not 21.

I miss family holidays. My parents relayed all the new stories from Easter to me over Skype, but I miss being there and having that big meal with my family. Facebook also makes it tough. I see all the events my friends back home are attending and I wish I could attend them, too.

I will miss my family and friends...
Not being there for family and friends when something happens for example, my sister was in the er due to bell's palsy on just this past Monday. That was terrifying. She is fine but it really had me thinking about things like that happening while I am gone. I can only pray that nothing else like that happens...

But on a lighter and more happier note: My other sister (I have Three awesome sisters!) is pregnant and having a baby in December...I will miss the birth of my niece/nephew... but thank God for skype!! I will be the auntie on "TV" hehehe Yes..I will be missing my big family...but because I will be with someone who loves and cares for me I don't feel like I will be apart from them ...if that makes sense.

I miss my dream job working at the children's shelter, my mamaw's memorial service (she died right before I moved, my sisters and grandparents, my sisters' birthdays, family holidays, and I had to leave before the service due to familial issues), the birth of my cousin's second child, another cousin's wedding, my friend's college graduation...It is still the best decision I ever made. We moved away from my husband's family in October, so he is experiencing all of that now. We missed the birth of our niece, but got to meet her over Easter at almost three months old.

Well im planning on moving wherever he goes after he graduates. So I have to say im going to miss our families who both live herr for the most part. Im going to miss having four beautiful (yet weather frustrating) seasons if we move where he is. Im going to miss all the pets.

And im going to miss my niece/nephew that will be born jan 1st. Although if we move to a different state it wont be until next winter. So ill be there for the first year.
