I'm so worried about moving - UK people's advice especially appreciated!

Just a thought, I live in England and I've NEVER found a job through a job site. It's all from dropping CVs into my local businesses, or watching out for recruitment posters and just trawling through websites to find jobs. Don't lose hope just cos there's rubbish jobs on the sites, or no available jobs

I just joined this forum & this is the first thread I read... funny as I am a girl from Toronto & my boyfriend lives in England too!
I just want to say.... regarding finding a job in the UK, the last I heard the "youth unemployment statistics" are about the same in Ontario as they are in England, something around 20% (yikes)! It took my boyfriend 4 months to find a job in England but if you go over through the SWAP program they can help you find a job (so I hear, I don't have personal experience).
