    Anyone know how to make those pictures that show where you are and where your SO is?

    Ok, so I've seen them around this forum, even as people's signatures, but I have no clue how to make them, or even what to call them?

    It would be some sort of picture with a heart where I am in China connected by dotted line to a heart where he is in Michigan...

    Maybe this is already discussed in a thread, but as I don't know what it's called, I couldn't find it
    This is kind of important, if anyone could help me out I'd really appreciate it!!!

    I can tell you how I did mine but I'm sure there's more than one method.

    I went to Google Maps and plotted the route (with "get directions") from my postcode to my SO's, then used Snipping Tool to capture the area I wanted. I saved the image to my files, then opened it on Paint.NET. I searched for a .png heart on Google, saved one I liked, then inserted it twice (placed over the location pointers) into the image. Here's the end result:



    I don't think that's the exact sort of thing you have in mind though! You could always message someone who has a dotted line map and ask them what program they used to make it

      I made mine on my iPhone:

      Maps: Hybride
      Printscreen it
      Crop it with a app (ps express) to make it square
      Ad the hearts with the app PB Lite
      Used Lo-fi on Instagram

            I'd post a pic but can't figure that out!

            I made one, it's a little rough looking, but now that I know how to make them I can try again and make it look better lol
