I want to get my SO a gift and I think I know, and found something and its affordable. But my question is, how do you know if you can trust a site? Or if its legit. Because your giving out your credit card info. I've only ever ordered from the Disney store lol And would order from walgreens. Popular sites. Is there a way to know?

I'd say the more well-known a site is the better the chance you have of it being secure. Do you know anyone who has placed online orders from your chosen company before? If you do and their goods were delivered without problems there's no reason why you shouldn't expect the same service. On retail websites, check if the company provides contact details (head office address, a telephone number etc.) and return policy. That's all I can think of at the moment! You should be fine with Walgreens though

What is the site? If they have a webpage that looks like it is from the 90s it is probably sketchy. The nice thing about credit cards is if you pay for something with them and you don't get it, you can call and they will take the charge off your bill.

Check the 'contact us' section of the website. Call the number ask a question about a product. Make sure the checkout has SSL Secure Sockets Layer · VeriSign secure. Check the BBB.org its the better business bureau.
