Matching Picture Frames

For our 6 month anniversary I decided to make me and my SO "matching" picture frames. These were fun to make! We both like the color green so I tried two different designs for the frames:



Can't wait to send him his with a picture of us in it!

I really, really like this. How did you make them? It's a really good gift to give my SO when he's leaving for his next six months voyage and I would have a month to make it before he gets here and two months when he gets here to take a fabulous picture of us to place in them.

I made them at a paint glaze and fire studio. They have different pieces you can choose to paint and they so happened to have picture frames! It only takes a couple hours to do and I got my frames back a week after making them.

If you don't have a studio like that near you I have seen some tutorials on google on making custom frames:

For me the two frames plus the studio fee cost me $56. These tutorials seem to be the more inexpensive route, but still just as cute and creative! Kinda wished I would have googled making picture frames before heading to the studio XD

Thanks for the links they are great. I'm going to look more in depth at them. I don't think there is any such studio on my Island and if there was it probably would be twice as expensive as you paid. Thanks a lot.
