What are you getting your SO for Christmas?

I have absolutely no idea what to get my SO for the holidays and I have no money for something so...I'll probably write him a song or think of something else I can make for him that requires no money. I mean, literally no money, I don't even have money to ship anything...but he loves it when I sing for him, at least. ^_^

For Christmas I'm just getting her a t-shirt from this podcast I listen to. She doesn't actually listen to it, but I couldn't resist getting her a shirt that says "Hug Me I'm a Hufflepuff" xD

Then I have another gift that I'll give her pretty much as soon as she gets here (ONLY 13 DAYS LEFT OMG!!!) that's much more meaningful. It's a Harry Potter wand that I've carved myself. I've also made an exclusive fabric covered box with a silk bed inside to keep it in and several different documents and letters to accompany it, for example an Owl Post Parcel Declaration Form and a letter of authenticity for the handcrafted wand. It was meant for her birthday so it's several months too late but it turned out to be more work than I imagined.

We're doing stockings for each other this year, and I've been brainstorming ideas for things to fill it with.
So far I have:
1. key chain bottle opener with the NY Giants logo on it
2. a pair of boxers
3. Swedish fish
4. Chapstick (he's always taking mine)
5. The nice razor blades that he won't buy cuz they're too expensive
6. Coupons for foot rub, back rub, etc.

I was thinking of getting my SO a 3DS too (probably the Zelda edition). The 3DS slider broke on his old one and the warranty isn't good anymore. Also, maybe some shirts or something like that.

I ended up getting him tickets to go see AFI perform in Nashville in January. He mentioned that he wouldn't mind going to see them to a friend and the friend told me he said that. I also probably get a couple more things maybe a shirt or two.

I'm absolutely horrible with gifts... I usually just give out gift cards, LOL.

But since it's my SO and this is the first gift I'm sending him, I wanted it to be personal. Small, but personal. Getting him a personalized beer glass with his name engraved in it and a corny, cutesie custom keychain with the phrase, "Love knows no distance" and the image I use for my avatar on it.

dont think it matters what time of year it is, a special gift from your SO, makes up for being not their in person, i know, i had a box weighing 11lbs recently, i was so happy and like my christmas had come early,
on the same score i had send a few magazines and local stuff to my SO, and well, that phone call i got to say they had arrived was great to hear that such a small non important gift, meant the world.
