New Year´s Eve plans

As the last day of 2013 is getting close, I was thinking about how to make it special. I can´t be with my SO, but we are gonna Skype. I was thinking about doing a little Skype strip for him, if I will be able to get relaxed enough , but that is it, more-or-less. Sooo, what are you guys up to?

We will be at some small parties with friends. I will toast with him 2 times (the time difference) over Skype. That is all really. I will try to make him smile, even though he is not so fond of the day. 2014 will be the year we will be together all of the days. We can toast to that : D

I don't even know if we will be able to Skype. I'm really hoping we can do that. I missed spending time over phone or Skype with him Christmas, so I'll be really sad if we can't do something over Skype for New Year's. Since we don't know if we can or not, we've not really talked about what we'd do over Skype. I'm sure we'd do something special until midnight, then toast the New Year. We could play an online game, watch a movie over Skype or Synaptop, or some share some adult time (. Whatever we do, I'll be happy if we're together (or together as much as we can be LD.)

I'm hoping we'll go downtown to watch the ball drop, & participate in the festivities, but he has to work in the morning. I have the day off, yay! So I'll be kicking off 2014 with some books. And probably movies. And naps. It will be a good day, I can already tell.

Im going to dinner with two friends and one of their fiancees. Then maybe to the pub.

We'll be together online somehow. I hope we both get little splits of champagne to celebrate. He's not much of a drinker though.

I'm cooking dinner for my two best friends. We'll probably kill a bottle of wine on the couch with our favorites Anderson Cooper and Kathy Lee Griffin. The boy is going to a friend's party. Hopefully we can Skype sometime between his New Year and mine.

I am having a new year's eve party! He may not be able to have his phone on him for either of our midnights. I plan on calling at midnight, leaving a message of me blowing lots of kisses. Then going to my room to send a video message after celebrating with my friends.
If I am up I will call him again for his midnight.
If he can have his phone then it will change a bit.

Good idea Stormy! If my SO can't Skype at midnight, I'll do him a video message then. I hadn't even thought of that, and he would appreciate it. Oohhh, that sounds fun. I can think of several things to do on that video message. Thanks for mentioning that.

I'm staying in, as I usually do. Will probably watch an Asterix animated movie with my sisters, as is our tradition. And I hope my sister's MIL will bake us a Christmas log, like last year.

I'll call my SO around midnight, too.

Staying in I think. Tickets to the main parties downtown were horrendously expensive. We're getting Indian snacks and we went to the alcohol supermarket (one of the best paces in the world ) and got stuff for cocktails. New Years day will probably be spent hungover binge-watching Netflix and I'll be making a roast dinner as soon as I'm able lol

I'll be flying back to Costa Rica arriving around 10pm and then hoping I'm not too exhausted and sleep through new years

We'll have dinner with his family, and then his sister and her boyfriend and the two of us are headed to his brother (and his girlfriend's) swanky apartment for a little partay. Unfortunately I have work on the first!

I'll be staying in entertaining a five year old on my own.... I'll probably get her to bed and then watch some movies.

The SO and I will head over to my aunt and uncle's after he gets off of work. We'll bring games and food and hang with the cousins.
