I have a photo I want printing out and framing for my SO, to save on postage costs I'm hoping to find somewhere in the US that will ship it direct to Virginia for him. Does anyone in America have any recommendations?

That depends. You mentioned you want it framed - I'm not sure if snapfish or shutterfly do framing. Canvaspeople does canvas prints (obvs) and I think they also frame. I've used all 3, and definitely recommend all of them.
