NYE Suggestions?

We've been in a relationship for 8 months, he'll be coming back in exactly 50 days, after a 141 day wait! Just in time for our 10 month anniversary, and New Years Eve. As much as we're thrilled we're running out of ideas of how to spend our week together, cooking, going to the movies, dinner dates, etc , but we really want NYE to be special.. Any suggestions? We're both 18, and madly in love, so even staying in enjoying each others presence is more then enough but we really want to make NYE special. Thanks!

What I really like about NYE is to be outside and look at the fireworks. Perhaps find a nice location, either all by yourself or in the middle of a crowd according to your taste. If you can afford it, maybe go for a getaway, either near or far, to see some new places and new faces.

Are there any events locally? The city near me always hosts a big New Years Eve event with performers and food and other fun activities... it costs money, but the one year my SO and I went it was so special and such a fun way to ring in the new year!
