Does this sound okay? - Valentine/Birthday gift

    Hi all!
With valentines fast approaching and my guy coming to see me for his birthday, i sorta kinda want to get him a valentines/birthday gift (we don't really buy gifts/cards for valentines) and usually I have a REEEEALLY hard time trying to think of stuff to get him, he's very macho but he's one of those people who seems to have everything already and he usually complains when i spend money on him, BUT i really want to give him something meaningful but not too showy.
Last night by a stroke of luck I found this website called 'treat him', can't remember the address but i think it was treathim.com or something simple like that, and they have such an amazing selection of gifts! I found these keyrings :

    https://www.treathim.com/product/per...arts-key-rings

and honestly they look so perfect, you can get them engraved with yours and his initials and they're not too showy, do you guys think this is a good idea??

Also I was looking for a cheaper version of this, and these were the cheapest I could find :

so do you think it would be cheaper to engrave them myself?

    Just general thoughts, please

I think it'd be cheaper to do the second option. That's a great idea! Those are beautiful keychains.

Honestly, I think you should go all out and go for the 1st option! You only have one day and he's the guy that has everything well you have one day to impress him and this it! So get him the more expensive gift

Either seems like a great gift! He'll love it because it's not something that's too lame for him to wear, it's just the right amount of cute that a guy won't freak out! lol.
