I've seen on quite a few threads ideas and gifts from Think Geek.
Personally they're one of my FAVOURITE websites and there's a lot of slightly "untraditional", yet romantic gifts. In particular in my opinion quite a few that are great for LDR.

I always take at least one of my SO's tshirts home with me after a visit. And when I get home, I often put it over a pillow so its kind of like I'm cuddling up to him - well now we've got both in one!
When I leave this time, we'll probably put our 'Worth it' tshirts in them. Or our matching Big Bang 'Rock Paper Scissors Lizard Spock" tshirts (Yes - we're that awesome! hehe)

Tea and hugs make the world go round - don't ever discount the little things in life. 
Smiling away to oneself brings an obscene amount of joy when only you know the reason why your smiling. Pick something secret to smile about and let it light up your face all day long!
