    $20 box

I miss my boyfriend and at the moment we are both completing classes towards our degrees and working a crap load of hours each week. I was at target yesterday and came up with the idea of taking the $20 I had and buying a bunch of random little things to send him. It isn't for a special occasion, but just something to remind him that I'm proud of him and I miss him.

    I bought him:
    - a $.99 'I miss you' card that I'll write all over
    - a small carton of easter candy so he has something to snack on
    - some cute little erasers that look like food xD
    - chapstick
    - new earphones
    - some cat treats for his new kitty
    - a nerf dart gun keychain (because he's a video game nerd)
    - a $5 starbucks card for those early mornings at work

I'm really excited to send this out. I haven't said a word to him about it! If this goes well, I may just do this again sometime. I wanted to share the idea with all of you.

Awesome idea! I bet he will love the box.

I would love to send more packages to my SO, but the shipping is incredibly expensive.

    $35.

Oh wow. x.x I use the flat rate boxes the post office has. It usually costs me $5 or $10 depending on the size of the box.

There are no flat rate boxes for overseas shipping unfortunately.

If she would live here I could send a box for like $7. Grrr.

I too use the flat rate shipping boxes as often as possible. It also depends on the size of the items.

Anyway, sweet idea. I just did the same thing on Wednesday. I had to go to Walmart and I had a feeling my S/O was having a hard week and sure enough when I talked to him later he was. I picked up some things for him....nothing fancy just things I know he likes (and things he needs for work....black ink pens, sharpies, hand sanitizer, lotion) etc. I included a couple cards and a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, which are his favorites.

I love to send him random packages. He was surprised and happy. So, that makes me feel good.

Very nice what you did for your S/O. I'm sure he appreciates it!
Love is patient and kind. It does not envy or boast; is not proud, rude or self-seeking. Love is not easily angered and keeps no record of wrongs. It does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
